Best Bar Design Award 2026

The Best Bar Design Award 2026 is open to entries from bars of any style across the world. There is no fee to enter, and bars do not require any previous affiliation or ranking with 50 Best to submit an entry.

To help support each entry and to communicate the ideas and ethos behind the bar’s design, you are invited to provide a supporting statement of 500-1000 words, alongside 10 images of the bar and a video walkthrough of the space, with the option to also attach any further supporting media, such as a video of your bar.

All entries will be judged by senior representatives from 50 Best alongside an esteemed panel of hospitality design experts, each of whom will assess each entry based on the following six criteria: Innovation; Aesthetics; Accessibility; Ergonomics; Ecological Compatibility; Emotional Quotient. Please ensure your supporting statement addresses the judging criteria.

The highest-scoring finalists across the world will be invited to the ceremony for The World’s 50 Best Bars 2026, where the winner will be revealed. The regional winners of the Best Bar Design Award for North America’s 50 Best Bars 2026, Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026 and the inaugural Europe’s 50 Best Bars will also be determined from these entries.

The deadline for submissions is 09:00 UTC on Monday 16 February 2026. This deadline will not be extended and no entries will be accepted after this date.
